General Terms and Conditions
AI FOR CHANGE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all partnership agreements and related services for the AI FOR CHANGE event, managed and operated by G&O STRATEGY.AI (“the Organizer”).
Any registration, payment or signature implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
1. Event Description
AI FOR CHANGE is an executive learning expedition and professional event combining closed-door sessions, workshops, networking activities and participation in third-party events (including but not limited to GITEX Summit & Expo).
The program, speakers, venues, dates and formats may be adjusted by the Organizer when necessary to ensure the quality, safety or feasibility of the event.
2. Eligibility and Registration
Participation in AI FOR CHANGE is invitation-only and subject to validation by the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to:
-
refuse or cancel a registration at its sole discretion,
-
ensure a balanced and relevant group of participants and partners.
Registration is only considered confirmed once the required initial payment has been received.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
3.1 Fees
Participation and partnership fees are stated exclusive of taxes unless otherwise specified.
3.2 Payment Schedule
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
-
50% of the total amount is due at the time of booking
-
The remaining 50% is due no later than 3 months before the event start date
Invoices are payable by bank transfer within the deadlines indicated.
3.3 Late Payment
Any delay in payment may result in:
-
suspension of access to the event,
-
cancellation of participation without refund,
-
application of late payment penalties as permitted by law.
4. Cancellation by the Participant or Partner
All partnerships are firm and non-refundable.
In the event of cancellation by the partner, for any reason whatsoever (including personal, professional, health or travel issues):
-
All amounts paid remain fully due and non-refundable
-
Any outstanding balance remains payable according to the agreed schedule
No replacement participant may attend without prior written approval from the Organizer.
5. Force Majeure / Exceptional Circumstances
In the event that the event is cancelled, postponed or modified due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, including but not limited to:
-
natural disasters (earthquake, flood, fire, etc.),
-
pandemics or public health emergencies,
-
aviation or transportation disruptions,
-
governmental decisions, restrictions or bans,
-
war, terrorism, civil unrest,
-
strikes or supply chain failures,
the Organizer shall not be held liable, and:
-
all amounts paid shall remain due and non-refundable,
-
no compensation, refund or indemnity shall be granted.
The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, propose a postponement, alternative format or future participation credit, without obligation.
6. Program Changes
The Organizer reserves the right to modify:
-
speakers,
-
agenda,
-
venues,
-
formats,
-
duration or sequence of activities.
Such modifications shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund or compensation.
7. Travel, Accommodation and Third-Party Services
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, travel, accommodation, visas and insurance remain the sole responsibility of partners.
The Organizer shall not be liable for:
-
flight cancellations or delays,
-
accommodation issues,
-
personal expenses,
-
losses related to third-party service providers.
8. Liability Limitation
The Organizer’s liability is strictly limited to the amount actually paid by the partner for the event.
In no case shall the Organizer be liable for:
-
indirect or consequential damages,
-
loss of business, profit or opportunity,
-
reputational damage.
Partners, Customers of the Partner and Participants of the Partner attend the event at their own risk.
9. Image Rights & Communication
Partners, Customers of the Partner and Participants of the Partner authorize the Organizer to:
-
capture photos, videos and recordings during the event,
-
use such content for communication, marketing and promotional purposes, worldwide and without time limitation.
No financial compensation shall be due for such use.
10. Confidentiality
Partners acknowledge that discussions during the event may involve confidential information.
Each partner agrees to respect the confidentiality of exchanges and not to disclose sensitive information shared during closed-door sessions.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute and failing amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
13. Acceptance
By registering for or participating in AI FOR CHANGE, the partner acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these Terms without reservation.
